Reminders & memory
Private preview · 4 October 2026
A reminder, conversation history and an explicitly saved profile fact are different things. An AI reply saying it will remember something is not proof of a saved fact or scheduled notification.
Review a reminder before saving
Open the Reminders area in your build. Enter the message, date and time, and choose the intended time zone. Use Review reminder and inspect the full date, AM/PM and zone. Confirm only when these match your intent. Voice reminder phrasing is supported by current source work, but not every phrase is accepted; provide an explicit date/time/zone if clarification is requested.
Notification permission is a separate step. On Android, alarm scheduling can also need OS authorization. A denied permission or scheduling error must be resolved and the reminder reviewed/confirmed again. Merely opening Settings or saying yes is not proof that a notification was saved.
Check, edit or cancel
Check the saved reminders list after confirmation. Review edits with the same care. Use Cancel to cancel a saved reminder. A saved schedule is not proof of actual OS delivery. A past time can be shown as Time passed · delivery not verified. Do not assume the pet spoke the reminder while the app was closed, locked or disconnected from the speaker.
Check your notification, Focus and sound settings and keep the phone charged. Delivery, edit/cancel behavior and background speech still need acceptance on the intended phone and build. These preview reminders must not be your only alarm for medication, pet care, travel or other time-critical tasks.
What the app currently remembers
Your pet's name, photo, people, favorites, voice preferences and local conversations are stored by their corresponding app controls. Dog/Cat histories are isolated by species. Clearing one conversation does not mean every profile field or reminder was deleted.
Accepted user messages are retained immediately; assistant replies belong in history after successful playback. Stopping output should not turn an unheard answer into a shared past event. Saved history provides context, but the model can still forget, misunderstand or invent details.
Voice-based remember confirmation
A flow for asking the pet to remember a new fact and confirming its exact wording is under development. It is not a delivered feature in the current installed builds. Use People & Favorites or other explicit profile controls for supported facts, and verify the saved entry. Do not assume that ordinary conversation automatically creates a permanent profile fact.
Current acceptance boundary
The newer iPhone build-60 camera checks are not reminder or memory acceptance. The combined Android R3 build passed 313 host tests and is now verified installed on the tested phone. Nine device checks of saved state and failed commits passed with user data preserved; these are not notification-delivery or complete reminder-flow acceptance. Voice-confirmed permanent memory changes remain uninstalled. Physical reminder delivery and the complete confirmation/edit/cancel flow still need acceptance on the intended build. No public reminder reliability guarantee is offered.
